Marking entries
First you must mark the entries for the table of contents, which can include chapter, section, heading, and subheading entries.
To mark entries
- In your sample file, click View menuReveal codes.
- Click Tools menuReferenceTable of contents.
- Select the section heading Using graphics.
- On the Table of contents level toolbar, click the Mark 1 button to position the Using graphics entry as a level 1 heading in the table of contents.
Mark 1 to Mark 5 each correspond to a level of indentation.
- On the Table of contents level toolbar, click the Mark 2 button to position the following selected entries as level 2 headings in the table of contents:
- Creating graphics
- Inserting graphics
- Manipulating graphics
- Arranging graphics
- On the Table of contents level toolbar, click Mark 3 to position the following selected entries as level 3 headings in the table of contents:
- Working in the draw picture window
- Modifying shapes
- Changing the appearance of images
