Creating styles

Once you have generated your table of contents, you can create styles for the chapter, section, heading, and subheading entries. You can then apply the styles that you have created to each level in the table of contents.

To create a style

1. Click Format menuStyles.
2. Click Create.
3. In the Style name box, in the Styles editor dialog box, type TOC Mark 2 .
4. In the Description box, type Formats headings.
5. From the Type list box, choose Paragraph.
6. On the Styles editor toolbar, choose Arial from the Font list box.
7. On the Styles editor toolbar, choose 14 from the Size list box.
8. Click OK.
9. Click Close.
10. Highlight all your Mark 2 entries, and from the Styles list box on the property bar, choose TOC Mark 2.
