Lesson 2 - Creating the stock tracker data model

In this lesson, you will create a data model, which will later be used to create the stock order data entry form and stock report. A data model is a graphical representation of the relationships between tables in a database. Data models let you choose which tables you want to work with, what data from each table you want to display in the form or report, and how these tables are linked.

You will create a Stock Order data model to graphically represent the relationship between the Account and Stock Orders tables.

create a data model using the Data Model Designer
add tables to the data model
link tables in the data model
save the data model
