Generating the index

Once you have marked and defined the section entries, you will generate the index for your sample file by specifying such things as the number of levels, the position and the look of the page numbers.

To generate the index

1. On the Index toolbar, click Generate.
2. Enable the Save subdocuments check box.
3. Click OK.
4. On the Index toolbar, click Close.
5. Click FileSave.
