Generating the table of contents

Now that you have marked the entries for the table of contents and defined how and where the table of contents will display, you will generate it. When you generate the table of contents, the sample file is searched for table of contents entry markers, and the entries are reproduced on the table of contents page in the sample file.

To generate the table of contents

1. On the Table of contents level toolbar, click Generate.
2. Enable the Save subdocuments check box.
3. Click OK.
4. On the Table of contents level toolbar, click Close.
