| To break the link between an object and a style or style set |

| • | In the document window, right-click an object by using the Pick tool  , choose Object Styles from the context menu, and click Break Link to Style. |
If the Break Link to Style command is not available, there are no styles or style sets applied to this object.
You can also break the link between an object and a style by clicking the source indicator next to the styled property (outline, fill, paragraph, character, or frame) in the Properties docker and choosing Not Styled.
