CorelDRAW offers different methods for moving text. If you select text as an object, such as a block of artistic text or a text frame, you can move it to a new position, as you would any other object.
You can also move a selection of paragraph text between text frames or move artistic text between artistic text objects. Conversely, you can move paragraph text to an artistic text object, or artistic text to a paragraph text frame.
To move a text object |
1 . | Click the Pick tool . |
2 . | Drag the text object to a new position in the drawing window. |
To move a text selection |
1 . | Click the Text tool . |
2 . | Select the text that you want to move. |
3 . | Perform a task from the following table. |
Drag the text to another text object. The text cursor appears to indicate the insertion point.

Click the Shape tool , select the text object, and drag a character’s selection handle in the lower-left corner of the character.
