You can associate a number of different file types with Corel applications. When you double-click a file you have associated with an application, the application starts and the file opens. When you no longer need a file type association, you can break it.

In the Associated file extensions with CorelDRAW list, enable the check box of the file type you want to associate. |
Associating a file type with an application adds the application to the list of recommended programs for opening this file type. To open a file of an associated file type in CorelDRAW while browsing in Windows, you also need to make CorelDRAW the default program. To do this, click the Start button on the Windows taskbar, and then click Default programs. Next, click Associate a file type or protocol with a program. For detailed instructions about how to change the default program for a file type, see the Windows Help.
You can reset file associations by clicking Reset.

Some features described in the Help are not included in this version of the product, and are available only in CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2018.
