To insert content in the active document
To update the list of folders and aliases in the CONNECT Content docker
To find the images you like with ease, you can tag them as favorites. In addition, you can view and change the properties of an image. For example, you can change its title, add new tags, and delete existing tags. When you no longer need an image, you can delete it.
To insert content in the active document |
1 . | In the CONNECT Content docker, click a thumbnail. |
2 . | Click the Import button and choose one of the following commands: |
• | Import and link — inserts the file as a linked object |
• | Import at original position — lets you place a vector graphic at the original position where it was created relative to the page. The graphic is placed as an embedded object. |
• | Import — inserts the file as an embedded object |
3 . | Follow the onscreen instructions. |
You can also insert a file into an active document by right-clicking the file in the viewing pane and choosing an Import command.
To open and edit an image |
1 . | In the CONNECT Content docker, click a thumbnail. |
2 . | Click the Edit button . |
The file opens in its associated application. |
To update the list of folders and aliases in the CONNECT Content docker |
1 . | Click Window Dockers CONNECT Content. |
2 . | Choose a content folder or an alias from the Choose content source list box under All content. |
3 . | Click the Options for folder or alias button , and perform a task from the following table. |
Click Rename, and in the Rename dialog box, type a name in the Name box.

Click Browse, and navigate to the folder that contains the images.

Click Remove.
|
|
Click Open folder location.
|
To tag, delete, and edit the properties of images |
1 . | Click Window Dockers CONNECT Content. |
2 . | Perform an action from the following table. |
Right-click a thumbnail, and click Favorite.

Right-click a thumbnail, and click Properties. In the Properties dialog box, do any of the following:

Right-click a thumbnail, and click Delete.
