Product updates, formerly known as service packs, include performance and stability improvements that enhance your product experience. By default, you are automatically notified when product updates and news become available. In addition, with the default installation, the application automatically downloads new product updates and asks you for permission to install them.
To view information about product updates and change update preferences, click Help 
Updates, and then view the Updates tile on the Product Details page of the Welcome screen.
