To invert a layer mask

Inverting layer masks

You can invert a layer mask to make dark pixels light, and light pixels dark.

To invert a layer mask

In the Channels panel, select a layer mask.

Click the Channel options button

, and choose Invert.

You can also invert a layer mask by right-clicking the layer mask, and choosing Invert.
