Storing layers as images in the Image Portfolio

The Image Portfolio is a convenient place to store layers as images so you can use them again.

You can create your own Image Portfolio libraries to organize images by category. When you’re creating a library, keep in mind that the smaller the library, the easier it will be to see its contents at a glance.

You can also move items between Image Portfolio libraries. For more information, see Working with libraries.

The Image Portfolio holds only pixel-based layers. If you want to add a shape, Watercolor, Liquid Ink, or dynamic layer to the Image Portfolio, you must first convert it to a default layer. In the Layers panel, click the Layer options button panel options, and choose Convert To Default Layer.
