Clearing the canvas

You can erase the canvas by clearing its contents. Clearing the canvas does not delete the canvas, it only removes its content. In Corel Painter, you cannot delete the canvas.

To clear the canvas

1 Choose Window Layers.

3 Choose Select All, or press Command + A (macOS) or Ctrl + A (Windows).

4 Choose Edit Clear.

5 Choose Select None, or press Command + D (macOS) or Ctrl + D (Windows) to release the selection.
