Color : Customizing the layouts of color sets

You can arrange colors in a color set in various ways. You can sort by hue, luminance, and saturation; determine the size of color swatches; decide whether to have grid lines; and display the colors in a list in order to view the color names.

Choose Window Color Panels Color Sets. |

In the Color Set Libraries panel, click the Color Set options button and choose Sort Order. |

Saved — sorts colors in the order in which they were originally entered. |

HLS — sorts colors by hue, luminance, and saturation. |
|
• |
LHS — sorts colors by luminance, hue, and saturation. |
|
• |
SHL — sorts colors by saturation, hue, and luminance. |

In the Color Set Libraries panel, click the Color Set options button , choose Color Set Library View, and choose one of the following options: |
