Editing, renaming, and deleting scripts

Corel Painter lets you modify scripts in different ways. You can edit script instructions in order to change a recorded action sequence. You can also rename and delete scripts.

You can edit a script by opening it as a series of instructions that contain parameters, most of which are editable. You can also edit a script by exporting the script (.txt file) and then opening the file in a text editor. For more information, see Importing and exporting scripts.

The open script becomes the current script and is displayed in the Scripts library viewer. If you choose another script from the Scripts library viewer, the open script does not change.

You can also edit a script by exporting the script and then opening the script file in a text editor. You can export a script by clicking the Scripts options button in the Scripts panel, and then choosing Export Script.
