Expanding or contracting selections

You can expand or contract a selection by a set number of pixels.

Do the following
Expand a selection
Choose Select Modify Widen. In the Widen Selection dialog box, specify the number of pixels.
Contract a selection
Choose Select Modify Contract. In the Contract Selection dialog box, specify the number of pixels.
