Exporting and importing gradients

After creating a new gradient, you may want to export it to use in another program. The default gradients are stored in the GRD file format, which is commonly used in other applications.

You can also import gradients in the GRD file format.

To export a gradient

Edit workspace

In the Gradient Editor, select the gradient you want to export, and adjust its settings.

Click Export.
The Export dialog box appears.

Select the folder in which you want to save the gradient.
The default gradients are stored in the Gradients folder within the Corel PaintShop Pro program folder.

In the File name field, type a name for the new gradient.

Click Export.

To import a GRD gradient

Edit workspace

In the Gradient Editor, click Import.
The Import dialog box appears.

Select the folder that contains the gradient you want to import.
All GRD files are listed in the folder.

Select the gradient’s filename, and click Import.
