Create pixel-perfect graphics for the web
The following tips can help you create pixel-perfect graphics for the web:
•
Choose pixels as the unit of measurement of your document.
•
Check the dimensions of objects in pixels in the
Object size box on the property bar. Adjust the object size to whole numbers before exporting the document. If you plan to scale an object, use even numbers to ensure proper object scaling.
•
Use Pixels view (
View
Pixels) at a zoom of 800% or higher to view and evaluate the results.
•
In new documents, the pixel grid is aligned with the lower-left corner of the document page to help you create pixel-perfect designs on export, without blurry edges and with predictable pixel dimensions. Keep the
Align page with pixel grid setting enabled for best results. If you’re working with legacy files, the page is automatically aligned to the center to keep the default alignment in previous versions of CorelDRAW. For more information, see
To change the settings of the pixel grid.
•
Make sure snapping to pixel is enabled so that objects you move or draw automatically snap to either the center or edge of the pixel grid (depending on the objects outline properties). For information about how to enable or disable snapping to pixel, see
To change the settings of the pixel grid.
