If you no longer want table text to appear in a table, you can convert the table text to paragraph text. For more information about converting text to a table, see To create a table from text.

Click the Table tool , and then click the table. |

Click Table Convert table to text. |

In the Separate cell text with area, choose one of the following options: |

Commas — replaces each column with a comma and replaces each row with a paragraph marker |

• |
Tabs — replaces each column with a tab and replaces each row with a paragraph marker |

• |
User defined — replaces each column with a specified character and replaces each row with a paragraph marker |

If you enable the User defined option, you must type a character in the User defined box. |
If you do not type a character in the User defined box, each of the table rows is converted into a paragraph, and the table columns are ignored.
