Add, duplicate, and delete pages


CorelDRAW lets you add pages to a drawing or duplicate existing pages. When you duplicate a page, you can choose to copy only the layer structure of the page or to copy the layers and all the objects they contain. For more information about layers, see Layers. You can also duplicate and export a page to a new document.

To add a page

1 In the Pages inspector (Window Inspectors Pages), Control-click a page name, and click Insert Page.
2 In the Pages area, type the number of pages you want to add in the Number of pages box.
3 To place the new page before or after the current page, enable one of the following options:
Before
After
If you want to insert a page before or after a page other than the current page, type the page number in the Existing page box.

 

You can also
Specify the page size
Choose a page size from the Size list box.
Specify a custom page size
Type values in the Width and Height boxes.
Set the page orientation
Click the Landscape or the Portrait button.

To quickly insert a page before or after a page, Control-click the page name in the Pages inspector, and click Insert Page After or Insert Page Before.

You can also add a page by clicking the New Page button in the Pages inspector. The page is added after the last page in the document and becomes the active page.

To insert a page before or after a page in multipage view (View Multipage View), Control-click the page label, and click Insert Page After or Insert Page Before.

You can also insert a page after the current page by clicking the Add page button in the document navigator.

You can also add a page by Control-clicking a page tab in the document navigator and clicking Insert page after or Insert page before.

You can also add a page by clicking Layout Insert Page and specifying the options you want.

To duplicate a page

1 In the Pages inspector (Window Inspectors Pages), Control-click a page name, and click Duplicate Page.
2 In the Insert new page area of the Duplicate page dialog box, choose one of the following options:
Before selected page
After selected page
3 At the bottom of the dialog box, choose one of the following options:
Copy layer(s) only — lets you duplicate the layer structure without copying the contents of the layers
Copy layer(s) and their contents — lets you duplicate the layers and all their contents

You can also duplicate an active page by clicking Layout Duplicate Page and specifying the options you want in the Duplicate Page dialog box.

You can also duplicate a page by Control-clicking a page tab in the document navigator and specifying the options you want in the Duplicate Page dialog box.

You can also duplicate a page in multipage view (View Multipage View) by Control-clicking the page name label and specifying the options you want in the Duplicate Page dialog box.

You can also duplicate a page by Control-clicking a page name in the Objects inspector, choosing Duplicate page, and specifying the options you want in the Duplicate Page dialog box.

To duplicate and export a page to a new document

1 In the Pages inspector (Window Inspectors Pages), Control-click a page name, and click Duplicate Page.
2 In the Insert new page area of the Duplicate page dialog box, choose the To new document option.
A new document opens with the same name as the duplicated page.

You can also duplicate and add the active page to a new document by clicking Layout Duplicate Page and choosing the To new document option in the Duplicate Page dialog box.

You can also duplicate and add a page to a new document by Control-clicking a page tab in the document navigator and choosing the To new document option in the Duplicate Page dialog box.

You can also duplicate and add a page to a new document in multipage view (View Multipage View) by Control-clicking the page name label and choosing the To new document option in the Duplicate Page dialog box.

You can also duplicate and add a page to a new document by Control-clicking a page name in the Objects inspector, choosing Duplicate page, and choosing the To new document option in the Duplicate Page dialog box.

To delete a page

In the Pages inspector (Window Inspectors Pages), perform a task from the following table.

 

To delete
Do the following
A page
Control-click a page name, and click Delete.
Multiple nonconsecutive pages
Hold down Command, click the pages you want to delete, Control-click any of the selected pages in the inspector, and click Delete.
Multiple consecutive pages
Click the first page in the range of pages you want to delete, hold down Shift, click the last page in the range, Control-click the selected pages in the inspector, and click Delete.

You can also delete a page in multipage view (View Multipage View) by Control-clicking the page name label, and clicking Delete Page.

You can also delete a page by selecting the page and clicking the Delete button in the Pages inspector.

You can also delete an active page by clicking Layout Delete Page, and typing the number of the page that you want to delete. To delete a range of pages, enable the Through to page check box, and type the number of the last page to delete in the Through to page box.

You can also delete a page by Control-clicking the page tab in the document navigator, and clicking Delete Page.
