Add, edit, and manage object data

Corel DESIGNER offers a number of templates that you can use to create your project database. For example, the ActiveCGM and WebCGM templates provide common ActiveCGM, WebCGM, and WebCGM S1000D fields, while the InteractiveSVG template provides fields for creating interactive effects. For more information, see Apply CGM data to objects and Apply InteractiveSVG data to objects. You can also create custom data fields if required. For more information, see Add, edit, and manage data fields.

After choosing a template and creating the data fields you need, you can start assigning data to the objects in your drawing. The data fields that you apply to objects are stored in the project database.

You can use one object’s data entries to update another object’s data entries. This function does not replace an object’s data entries; rather, it appends fields and data where appropriate.
