Move projected objects

You can quickly move projected objects along the x-, y-, and z-axis using the controls of the Projected Axes docker.

Moving a projected object along the y-axis

1 Select an object.

2 If the Projected Axes docker is hidden, click Window

Projected Axes to display it.

3 In the Move along axis area of the Projected Axes docker, type values in any of the following boxes:

• X — moves the object along the x-axis

• Y — moves the object along the y-axis

• Z — moves the object along the z-axis

4 Click Apply.

You can also
Move copies of the object along the axes you want	Type a value in the Copies box before clicking Apply.
Reverse the direction in which to move the object along an axis	Click the Reverse direction button beside the axis box before clicking Apply.
