Fonts that are used by the operating system are protected and cannot be uninstalled or deleted.

Click the font in the Preview pane, and click the Install button
|

In the Preview pane, click the font family header, and then click the Install button on the toolbar.

A green vertical bar appears on the right side of installed fonts.
When you install a font from a local or network folder, the font is copied to the Windows Fonts folder. The Details pane shows the file path for the installed font.
You can also install a font by right-clicking it and clicking Install.

Click the font in the Preview pane, and click the Uninstall button

In the Preview pane, click the font family header, and then click the Uninstall button on the toolbar.

A yellow vertical bar appears to the left of the font name for fonts that are uninstalled.

| The deleted font appears with a gray vertical bar. The font is removed from the list when the font list is updated. To update the font list, click the Refresh button |
| You can also refresh the font list by clicking another collection or changing the font filter. |
Deleted fonts are moved to the Recycle Bin.
