Install, uninstall, and delete fonts

Corel Font Manager lets you install and uninstall single or multiple fonts as well as entire font families. You can delete fonts that you no longer need to prevent clutter.

Fonts that are used by the operating system are protected and cannot be uninstalled or deleted.

Fonts that are being used by other applications cannot be uninstalled or deleted before you close the applications or restart your computer.

To install fonts

To	Do the following
Install a font	Click the font in the Preview pane, and click the Install button on the toolbar. If you want to install multiple fonts, first select them by clicking them while holding down Ctrl or Shift.
Install a font family	In the Preview pane, click the font family header, and then click the Install button on the toolbar.

A green vertical bar appears on the right side of installed fonts.

When you install a font from a local or network folder, the font is copied to the Windows Fonts folder. The Details pane shows the file path for the installed font.

You can also install a font by right-clicking it and clicking Install.

To uninstall fonts

To	Do the following
Uninstall a font	Click the font in the Preview pane, and click the Uninstall button on the toolbar. If you want to uninstall multiple fonts, first select them by clicking them while holding down Ctrl or Shift.
Uninstall a font family	In the Preview pane, click the font family header, and then click the Uninstall button on the toolbar.

A yellow vertical bar appears to the left of the font name for fonts that are uninstalled.

After you uninstall a font that resides both in a font folder and in the Windows Fonts folder, a font copy remains in the Windows Fonts folder.

To delete a font

Click a font in the Preview pane, and click the Delete button

on the toolbar.

The deleted font appears with a gray vertical bar. The font is removed from the list when the font list is updated. To update the font list, click the Refresh button

on the toolbar.

You can also refresh the font list by clicking another collection or changing the font filter.

If multiple copies of the same font file appear in different locations, you can choose which copies to delete.

Deleted fonts are moved to the Recycle Bin.

The features documented in the Help are available in the full version of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2019. Some features may not be available in this version of the product.
