JavaScript scripts
You can save time by using a JavaScript script to automate a series of repetitive tasks. The Scripts docker (Tools
Scripts
Scripts) lets you load, run, rename, and delete scripts.
You can perform the actions that are associated with a script by playing that script.
To load a script

In the
Scripts docker, click
Load, and then choose the folder where the script is located.
To play a script
•
In the
Scripts docker, click the script in the list, and then click the
Run button

To edit a script

In the
Scripts docker, click the script in the list, and then click the
Edit button

.
To rename a script
•
In the
Scripts docker, click the script name twice and type the new name.
To delete a script
•
In the
Scripts docker, click the script in the list, and then click the
Delete button
.
To associate JavaScript files with Notepad

In File Explorer, right-click a JavaScript file, and click
Properties.

On the
General tab of the dialog box, click
Change in the
Opens with area.

Choose to open
.js files in Notepad.
