You can add moving objects to a slideshow in a variety of formats, including animated GIF files. In the procedure below, you will learn how to insert an animated GIF into a slide show.
To insert an animated GIF into a slide
Click on the Slide 1: Thomas Inc. tab.
Click Insert menuAnimated GIF.
Choose the drive and folder where the file is stored.
For example, C:\My Documents
In the Filename box, type clock_ani,0.
Click Insert.
Drag the animated GIF image to the bottom right corner.
To play a slide show automatically
Click Format menuSlide propertiesDisplay sequence
Click the Display sequence tab.
In the Display next slide area, enable the After a delay option.
This option automatically advances slides with a specified amount of time between each one.
Type 2 in the Seconds box.
In the Display animated objects and bulleted lists area, enable the Immediately after the slide transition check box.
Click OK.
Click the QuickPlay tab on the right side of your screen.
