Extensions

Extensions provide additional features for CorelDRAW and Corel PHOTO-PAINT and allow you to complete complex tasks with ease. They usually add new UI (user interface) elements such as a new tool, menu command, toolbar, docker, or dialog box.

Extensions do not require installation and can be downloaded through the Get More docker in CorelDRAW and Corel PHOTO-PAINT.

Available extensions include:

• Convert All to Curves

• Border and Grommet

• Fit Objects to Path

• Impact Effects

• PhotoCocktail

• Pointillizer

• Prep and Stretch

• Project Timer

To acquire an extension

1 Click Window Dockers Get More.

2 In the Get More docker, click Tools, and then click Extensions.

3 Click an extension.

4 Do one of the following:

• Click Buy, and follow the onscreen instructions to purchase the item.

• Click Download if the item is included with your product or subscription.

Extensions can be accessed from within the application. For example, Pointillizer appears under the Effects menu in CorelDRAW; and the Border and Grommet extension, which allows you to prepare banners for printing, appears under the Tools menu.

Downloaded macro extensions appear in the Macro Manager docker.

To delete an extension, click Remove beside the extension name in the Get More docker.

To access an extension

Update 1 of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X8 (version X8.1) lets you access all extensions from the standard toolbar.
