You can use anti-aliasing to smooth the appearance of text. Anti-aliasing can improve the legibility of on-screen text, especially text that uses a small font size. When adding text to an image, anti-aliasing is applied by default. You can, however, remove text anti-aliasing.

Choose one of the following options from the Text antialiasing list box on the
property bar:

Soft — produces text that is softer in appearance, but remains true to the font
shape

Hard — produces text that is very clear and sharp

Choose None from the Text antialiasing list box on the property bar.
