Corel Painter provides a grid to help you in laying down brushstrokes or creating shapes. You can align and snap image elements to a basic grid. You can set the types, size, line thickness, and color of the grid. You can also print gridlines.

You can also activate the grid from the Navigator panel by clicking the Open

In the Grid Options dialog box, choose a grid type from the Grid Type list box.

Type values in any of the following boxes:

Horizontal Spacing

Vertical Spacing
|
• |
Line Thickness
|
The unit of measure can be in pixels, inches, centimeters, points, picas, columns (2 in. wide), or percent. |

Click the Grid Color chip to set the color of the gridlines.

Click the Background chip to set the grid’s background color.
