Create the inside of the sphere

To make the sphere appear hollow, you will create a second sphere slightly smaller than the first and assign it the Negative Boolean attribute. When the two spheres are grouped, the inner sphere will be subtracted from the outer sphere.

1. From the Create palette, click the Sphere tool.
2. Click the A button next to the sphere's bounding box. The Object Attributes dialog appears.
3. From the General tab, change the X, Y, and Z Size settings to 15, 15, and 15.
4. Enable the Negative Boolean attribute.
5. Click the OK icon.
