To draw the top puff of the hat

1. Click the Ellipse tool, hold down CTRL, and draw a circle at the top point of the hat.
2. Right-click the bottom rim of the hat.
3. Hold down the mouse button, and drag to the circle you just created. When you release the right mouse button, a submenu displays.
4. From the submenu, choose Copy all properties. This will copy the fill properties from the rim of the hat to the top puff. Click here to see an animation of these steps.

To draw the dots on the hat

1. Click the Ellipse tool, hold down CTRL, and draw approximately 8 small circles.
2. Fill each circle with a different color from the color palette.
3. Set the outline to no color for each circle.
4. Using the Pick tool, randomly place each circle on the hat.
