Completing the clown

You will now draw hands and cuffs to complete the clown. You will then group the clown into a single object.

To draw the hands

1. Using the Pick tool, select the head.
2. Copy and paste the head.
3. Using the sizing handles, drag to shrink the circle to the size of a hand.
4. Copy and paste the hand you just created, and place one at the end of each arm.

To draw the cuffs

1. Using the Pick tool, select the collar.
2. Copy and paste the collar.
3. Using the sizing handles, drag to shrink the collar to the size of a cuff.
4. Copy and paste the new cuff.
5. Place each cuff where the hand of the clown meets its arm.
6. Use the rotation handles to rotate the cuffs so they are at an angle above the hands.

To complete the clown.

1. Marquee select the clown.
2. On the property bar, click the Group button. You can now move and manipulate the clown as a single object.
