Creating a background
You can finish the drawing by creating a background and frame for the clown. You can draw squares to create the background and then import a border to complete the frame.
To draw the background
- Using the Rectangle tool, hold down CTRL, and draw a square around the clown.
- On the color palette, click the powder blue color swatch to fill the square, and right-click the no color swatch to set the outline.
- Click Arrange menu Order To back.
- Copy and paste the square.
- Holding down SHIFT, drag one of the corner sizing handles outwards to make the square larger. Holding down SHIFT draws the square from its center so that all sides expand equally.
- On the color palette, click the deep river color swatch to fill the square, and right-click the no color swatch to set the outline.
- Click Arrange menu Order To back.
