Modifying symbol instances |
The following object properties can be modified for symbol instances. If a symbol contains multiple objects, all objects in the symbol instance are treated collectively as a single object, just as if they were grouped.

|

Skew

Rotation angle
|
Type a value in the Angle of rotation box on the Transform toolbar. For more information, see Rotating objects.

Transparency
|
Uniform transparency only. In the Symbol area of the Property manager docker, move the Transparency slider. For more information, see Applying transparencies.
The transparency slider is disabled if the symbol contains an object with transparency already applied to it.

Mirroring

Wrap paragraph text

In the Summary area in the Property manager docker, choose an option from the Wrap paragraph text list box. See Wrapping text.

Order
|

Name
|
The name of an instance is displayed in the Object manager docker. Click twice to change it.

Unsupported object types |
Most objects in Corel DESIGNER can be converted to symbols, with the following exceptions.
